If you're currently focused on trying to find all the Pokémon to fill the entire Pokédex, it's more than certain that you'll also have on your to-do list to catch the Legendary Pokémon on the cover, Dialga and Palkia, two powerful entities. able to control time and space.

Catch Dialga and Palkia in Sparkling Diamond and Sparkling Pearl
Since the original releases in 2006, Dialga and Palkia have become two of the most famous Pokémon of Generation IV, not just because of their status as the king of memes relishing the "pressure" they exert, but because of their influence. on Sinnoh.
That's why getting them won't be an easy task, since you have a long way to go before you have the opportunity to get one of the two in your adventure.
Before going any further, you must have already beaten the first seven Gyms in the game, in order to gain access to the final part of the Team Galactic storyline as well as where the final battle will take place.
That said, once you manage to defeat Candice at Snowpoint Gym, Team Galactic leader Cyrus will intervene in Sinnoh having captured the Lake Trio, Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit, so you need to head to Veilstone City directly. to their hiding place.
When you get here, you must defeat all of the Team Galactic grunts you've encountered until you find Cyrus, who you'll need to defeat to continue your adventure and get the very valuable Master Ball.
Cyrus defeated, you will now have to free the Lake Trio from a room guarded by Saturn, the 1st Commander of Team Galactic. Defeat him then exit the base.
From there, we'll recommend buying as many Ultra Balls as you can, as your next stop will be the towering Mount Coronet, where you'll need to reach the top after traversing a maze filled with Team Galactic soldiers.
Once at the top, you must face the other two commanders, Mars and Jupiter, in a double battle, for which your rival will arrive in support to face them. However, once you manage to defeat them, you'll witness a special cutscene, where Cyrus will summon either Dialga or Palkia, making his final move to fulfill his desires.
You will again have to stop Cyrus and defeat him a second time, at which time he will put up no resistance and after talking with Professor Rowan, you will have the opportunity to catch the Legendary Pokemon.
?? »Here we invite you to save the game before facing Dialga or Palkia, because it will be the only chance to catch them in your game, so if you beat them by accident, they will not appear again.
After that it will be time to try to capture them. Both Pokemon will be level 47 and have good stats, so catching them can be a bit frustrating if you can't get their health down to low.
Now, by having the Master Ball with you, you can use it and save yourself a lot of that frustration, but if you're more of a collector or enjoy using it on another Pokemon, the only cure will be to reduce its lifespan. to almost zero and use as many Ultra Balls as needed.
Once you catch it, in the place where either of the two were, you will find the Adamant Orb or the Lustrous Orb, items that will greatly increase the power of the two legendary Pokémon a time they hold them.
Finally, since the other Pokémon on the cover will be exclusive to their respective version, the only way to have both in the same game will be through the Union Room or by transferring it from your Pokémon HOME.
