Niantic's popular mobile game, Pokémon GO, is celebrating its fifth anniversary, and as part of the celebrations, Niantic has announced a new partnership with Google Play.
In a recent blog post, Niantic revealed that Pokémon GO users can now take advantage of a new promotion: three months of free YouTube Premium.
For those who don't know, YouTube Premium is a monthly subscription service that gives you a lot of YouTube benefits. Among them is the possibility of enjoying videos without ads, and even being able to enjoy original productions and unlimited music through YouTube Music.
How to get YouTube Premium for free?
Getting YouTube Premium for free with Pokémon GO is a very simple process, so all you have to do is follow these steps:

- Sign in with your YouTube account (or create a new one if needed)
- Once logged in, click on the “Get YouTube Premium” button
- Enter your payment method and information
- Click on “Buy”
Once you do, you'll receive your three months of YouTube Premium for free as part of this Pokémon GO 5th Anniversary campaign.
That said, if you don't turn off its 473matic renewal, you'll be charged at the end of the free subscription period. Keep this in mind if you do not intend to remain subscribed to the service.
Likewise, we must point out that this is only available to Pokémon GO users who are not subscribed to YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium, those who have never subscribed to these services, YouTube Red or Google Play Music , and for users in the following countries and regions:
- Americas: United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil
- Europe: Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy and Spain
- Asia and Oceania: Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan and Australia
Finally, and if you don't want to take advantage of this offer yet, you'll have until October 5 to use it, so don't worry if you can't do it now or want to wait for a better time.
