This in-game advisory reported that a "known issue" for the 5-star character, Diluc, will be receiving a minor update to resolve his "expressionless" face when performing his elemental burst. However, the planned update is not over with the Genshin Impact community online.
Diluc's 'expressionless' face to solve
The Genshin Impact community was left puzzled when a Redditor, Amirizuki, posted on the Genshin Impact subreddit that Diluc was getting a minor update in the next scheduled update.
The update will fix an issue for the 5-star character, where he displays a "expressionless" face when performing his Elemental Blast, "Dawn." The question for the Redditor and the community is whether Diluc's "expressionless" face was a problem.
This isn't the first time that Diluc's facial expressions have been the focus of discussion within the community. The character had previously winked when performing his Elemental Burst, for which the developers changed him to an "expressionless" face. Now it looks like the developers will roll back the change.
"I request that his expression be exactly the same as Klee's during their flurry," Redditor Troysama replied sarcastically. Another felt that a better look could be planned for the character in the next update, “Maybe this change is meant to make him look more dead. »
"He's supposed to be Batman, not Joke," exclaimed CondimentCommander in frustration, while another barely noticed Diluc's facial expressions despite playing with the character. “I'm a master of Diluc and I literally haven't noticed anything – he still looks dead inside. »
Despite the confusion of the planned fix for the character, Diluc Mains never had any complaints or issues with his emotionless expressions. They thought it contributed to her character's rebellious nature, and now the change is something they disagree with.
We also discovered that a planned future update will also add fixes to address abnormal "special effects" for Shenhe, Thoma, Ganyu, and Razor when casting their elemental bursts. This update will arrive on January 13, 2022 in Genshin Impact.
