Genshin Impact's 2.1 updates "Floating World Under the Moonlight" will bring tons of new features to the game with the addition of Watatsumi and Seirai islands, as well as a new fishing system, more powerful bosses, and most importantly, four new characters.

Previously, we've covered all about Inazuma's supreme ruler, the Raiden Shogun, as well as the arrival of Aloy, Genshin Impact's first-ever crossover character, thanks to a partnership with PlayStation.

Now it's time to introduce you to the next 4-star character coming in this update, being an essential part of Inazuma's story, as she loyally serves the shogunate in charge of keeping order in the city from Inazuma herself. Introducing the "Crowfeather Kaburaya", Kujou Sara.

Kujou Sara – History and origins

Every 473ur business in the Eternity Nation is still overseen by the Tri-Commission, consisting of the Yashiro Commission which manages shrines and cultural events, the Kanjou Commission which manages Inazuma's finances, and the Tenryou Commission, responsible management of security and military affairs.

?? »

The Tenryou Commission is led by the Kujou clan and compared to other commissions, it has a higher desertion rate due to the reality and horrors of war that afflict them, following the vision hunting decree of the shogun. But aside from that, there is one person within this clan whose loyalty to the shogunate is so strong that he might lay down his life to uphold his family's honor and protect Inazuma.

Kujou Sara is known for her determination, as she will do everything in her power to keep the Shogun's will alive. But even with her cold and resolute demeanor in pursuing her missions, she hides a kind and peaceful side, something you can see every time she goes to Sacred Sakura to clear her mind, so that she can be quite easygoing even in the most difficult times.

Since being raised from a young age by the Kujou, Sara hasn't gone a single day without practicing her bow drills, being one of the most skilled users of this weapon, combined with her discipline and his mastery of the Electro element. , she will not hesitate to fight either by your side or against you.

Kujou Sara - Talents

Her normal attack, Tengu Bowmanship, allows her to perform up to five consecutive shots with her bow, while with her charged attack, she can perform a more accurate aimed shot with increased DMG. While aiming, it will build up crackling lightning on the tip of the arrow, inflicting Electro DMG if fully charged before impact.

These Crow Feathers will trigger Tengu Juurai: Ambush shortly after, inflicting Electro DMG and granting you bonus ATK to the active character, based on Kujou Sara's base ATK.

Recommended team composition and release date

Thanks to her potential to buff all allies, as well as her powerful Elemental Burst, Kujou Sara can be used both as a support and as a Sub-DPS unit, so choosing characters with good close combat abilities will be crucial for exploit its full potential.

That said, you can choose between the following characters depending on what suits you best for battle:

  • Bennett (Pyro): Bennett will provide both healing and a greater ATK boost combined with Sara's skill passive. In addition, thanks to its affinity with the Pyro, you can create devastating superconducting reactions, which will obliterate all 473ur enemies.
  • Next, you'll want to go for an Anemo character, as their whirlwinds can provide good CC while most options can do massive damage, as well as offensive buffs. Our best choices will be to choose Jean ou Twenty, although you can go with the Traveler finally.
  • Beidou (electro) or Raiden Shogun (Electro): Both can provide electro attachments, while also benefiting from their elemental power-up, dealing damage to you to deal with your opponents.
  • Finally, you can also opt for a Hydro character like Xing Qiu ou tartaglia, as they can unleash a lot of electro charges, dealing tons of DPS.
