Genshin Impact update 1.6 “Midsummer Island Adventure” is now entering Phase II, as one of the toughest challenges is currently underway with the “Legend of the Vagabond Sword” event, and with lots of content to be published in the next few weeks.
As players bid farewell to Klee's Banner Replay (and with it, the last chance to get it for a long time), the update's main course is about to arrive as, for the first time, a character from the long-awaited Inazuma region will join the roster of playable adventurers in miHoYo's RPG.
That said, it's time to take a closer look at Kaedehara Kazuha, the newest arrival in Genshin Impact, as well as the best options for his weapon and artifact composition, and even some tips for managing and increasing his power on the battlefield.
Kaedahara Kazuha – Background and Origins
Kaedahara Kazuha is by far one of the most mysterious characters to be added to Genshin Impact, hailing from the Electro nation of Inazuma, where he was part of the Kaedehara, a famous samurai clan known for having some of the toughest warriors. fearless and the most qualified.▶ »
Over time, Kazuha's desire to live a normal life outside of his clan's nobility forced him to make an unexpected decision, a tragic event will mark him for life as he now looks like a criminal within Inazuma, so Kazuha himself had to go into exile beyond the archipelago.
Subsequently, Kazuha became a wanderer traveling through mountains, lakes and beaches, traversing the continent of Teyvat, a journey that eventually led to Liyue, the domains of the Geo Archon, where he settled and now lives as a trainee sailor in the Fleet Crux.
While his warrior spirit kicks in when the situation warrants it, Kazuha is known for his gentle and carefree soul, as he enjoys reciting poetry while resting on a hot rock soaked in the mid-afternoon sun. noon, spending his time as he always wanted, relaxed and free from the burdens of his past.
Kaedahara Kazuha - Abilities
His normal attack, Garyuu Bladework, allows Kazuha to perform up to five consecutive strikes, while with his charged attack, he can consume stamina to perform two quick sword swings.
With his elemental skill, Chiyahaburu, Kazuha can unleash a secret technique that pulls objects and opponents towards his position, throwing them all in an area while inflicting Anemo DMG and lifting Kazuha into the air.
Chiyahaburu can both be used in the air and charged to have a larger area of effect and greater Anemo DMG.
While airborne after using Chiyahaburu, Kazuha can perform a special dive attack known as Midare Ranzan, which will convert his dive DMG stat to Anemo DMG, and create a small wind tunnel that fires all 473ur.
Finally, with his elemental shard, Kazuha Slash, Kazuha will do a powerful single blow knocking all enemies 473ur from him and leaving a field named "Autumn Whirlwind", which periodically inflicts Anemo DMG on opponents within range.

Kaedahara Kazuha - Best Weapons
Juror of Freedom
Starting with the best 5-star weapon for him, Kazuha's arrival will bring his signature sword known as the Freedom-Sworn, a powerful blade that greatly enhances his elemental power, to the game.
This new weapon is part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders among the winds of Mondstadt. Thanks to its passive, this sword can increase DMG, and when the character wielding this weapon triggers elemental reactions, they will gain a Seal of Rebellion.
When you have two of them, they will all be consumed to get the effect "Millennium Movement: Song of Resistance" for 12 seconds, which increases normal, charged and dive attack DMG by 16/20/24/28/32 % and increases ATK by 20/25/30/35/40%.
This celestial weapon is one of the best for any character that relies heavily on their elemental abilities, being based on the power of Stormterror.
The Skyward Blade increases CRIT Rate by 4/5/6/7/8%, but its biggest benefit comes from using your Elemental Burst, as this sword will grant you 10% movement SPD and ATK SPD, in plus increase normal and charged attack damage based on 20% of your current ATK.
This 4-star sword is an exotic long-bladed rapier that somehow found its way into Liyue via foreign traders, being a light, nimble, and sharp weapon. As iron sting is available through crafting, it can be one of the best options for those who don't want to spend a single penny to find a good and powerful item.
Using Elemental Mastery as a base, this sword can increase all DMG by 6/7,5/9/10,5/12% for six seconds, each time you deal Elemental DMG. The Iron Sting can be crafted with the Blacksmith by collecting a Northlander Sword Billet, 50 Crystal Pieces, and 50 Tinplate Pieces.
The black sword
In case you want to focus more on DPS, this nasty, bloodthirsty weapon lets you take down any enemy 473ur you without using your elemental abilities, thanks to its excellent offensive and regeneration bonuses.
For starters, this sword increases the power of your normal and charged attacks by 20%, while you can also recover 60% of your current ATK HP, on critical hit. This effect can only be activated every 5 seconds.
Kaedahara Kazuha - Best Artifacts & Stats
As a primary choice for his Artifacts, we recommend the Viridescent Venerer set, as it will greatly increase the potency of your elemental skills giving you a 15% Anemo DMG bonus.
If you manage to get four pieces from this set, it will increase Whirlpool DMG by 60% and reduce your opponent's Elemental RES to Whirlwind-Infused Element by 40% for ten seconds.
If you don't have all the pieces, you can combine it with the Gladiator's Finale set, which also increases your ATK by 18%.
As a second option, you can pack one of the latest introductions in Update 1.5, the Pale Flame set, as it will increase your physical attacks by 25% when you have 2 pieces of it.
With four pieces, each time your elemental skill hits an opponent, your ATK will be increased by 9% for seven seconds. This effect stacks up to 3 times and can be triggered once every 0,3 seconds. Once 3 stacks are reached, the effect of 2 sets will also be increased by 100%.

Recommended Team Composition
Kazuha has a wide variety of options, as he can be used as both a DPS dealer and a support character, making him a flexible swordsman with different fighting styles and approaches.
In order to take advantage of his skills and the elemental reactions you can create, we recommend pairing him with the teammates listed below:
- Hu Tao (Pyro),Diluc (Pyro), or Chongyun (Cryo): Any of these characters have incredible elemental skills that, combined with Kazuha's whirlwinds, can create a vortex of damage for all 473ur opponents.
- Diona (Cryo), Bennett (Pyro), or Barbara (Hydro): Either can support your team by creating heals, shields, and buffing your party with more DPS.
- Fischl (electro) or Lisa (electro): Both can deal additional damage by spreading constant superconductive reactions that can weaken nearby enemies.
- You can also get more damage control by choosing characters like Xiangling et Xing Qiu, as they have the damage potential to deal with a lot of treasure.
And that's all we have to share with you about Kazuha. Remember that he will only be available from June 29 to July 20 in his own "Leaves in the Wind" banner, so try to save as many Primogems as possible if you want to get your hands on this powerful Anemo ronin.
