Fortnite Season 7 is here and it's bringing aliens. Lots of aliens!
The invasion has begun and the whole season is themed around the alien invasion, with items like alien artifacts, alien-themed weapons, a brand new cosmic chest, and more.
As expected, Season 7: Invasion comes with lots of new map locations and POIs, where you can meet a bunch of weird new NPCs.
And while you're roaming the map, you may have noticed some nasty little creatures that like to jump on you and won't leave.
They're alien parasites, and they add a cool new gameplay feature that we'll explain below.
What are Alien Parasites in Fortnite Season 7?

These little alien parasites are part of the invasion, they were brought in by extraterrestrials and they will automatically attach themselves to you when you get close to them, whether you like it or not.
Although they can be an annoying nuisance, they actually have a nice gameplay effect.
Once they stick to you, you'll get a small bonus to your mobility for a while, but they'll also deplete your health over time.
They basically work like a boost pack in StarCraft 2, giving you speed in exchange for a chunk of your life.
They can be useful, but some players don't like them. If you want to get rid of it, here's how.
How to remove alien parasites in Fortnite Season 7?
If they attach themselves to you against your will and you want to get rid of them, it's quite easy!
All you have to do is make them feel uncomfortable!

They don't like fire, water, and props, so all you have to do is find some of them around the map and enter or approach them.
They won't like it and will pull away from you. Just make sure to get away from them quickly after they fall off you, as you'll have a few seconds while they ignore you before they become aware of you again.
