How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in Fortnite

Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 3 continues with the addition of new weekly challenges for players to pursue. There's also a new dynamic weather system that adds tornadoes and lighting to the game, both of which have their own pros and cons for players.

With the additions of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Gears of War, and Cobra Kai, it's no surprise that Fortnite's latest season had something for everyone. While there's been plenty of new premium content spinning Fortnite's Item Shop, there's no shortage of free items either.

Winterfest 2021 recently ended, leaving players with fourteen unique free rewards, including the highly anticipated Polar Peely Skin and Krisabelle Skin. PC players can also get the Blizzabelle skin for free, while PS Plus users can get the Sultura skin for free.

Thanks to all those new cosmetics obtained through the Item Shop, Battle Pass progression, or the Winterfest 2021 event, every player's inventory should be worth showing off, giving them all the more reason to cling to their current Fortnite accounts. As such, here's our guide to enabling two-factor authentication to improve account security and prevent unauthorized access.

Two-factor authentication increases their account security by adding an extra layer of protection.

In addition to entering account passwords, players must enter an additional security code to access the account. This prevents unauthorized access to anyone with the password but not the security code.

To enable two-factor authentication in Fortnite, players need to log into the Epic Games store through their preferred account. (PSN, Xbox Live, etc).
