How to properly create your character in Biomutant?
When you start creating your character, you will have to choose the species to which it belongs. This choice will affect its base stats and the class you choose later. So here is each species and its specificities :
- the Primal bets more on agility and who will consequently have less intelligence, the more it will have a better chance of making criticisms
- the Dumdon will have a very good physical power to the detriment of his intelligence
- the Rex will have balanced stats, but still have a good intelligence base
- le Hyla will have a very good vitality and will therefore be ideal as a tank
- the fip will rely heavily on intelligence to the detriment of vitality and it will be ideal for ranged combat
- le Murgel will be average, but will have a very good charisma and increased luck compared to other species
After choosing your species, you will have to make a choice for the class. To know more, you can read our dedicated guide, but here is the ideal species choice according to each class:
- sniper : Primal, Hyla or Murgel
- Commando : Primal, Hyla or Murgel
- Passion : Fip or Rex
- The Saboteur : Dumdon ou Hyla
- Sentinelle : almost all species, but mainly Hyla or Rex
- Mercenary : Dumdon, Hyla ou Rex
Once your class is determined, you're going to have to move on. Here, you will be able to modify the statistics in order to compensate for the initial weaknesses of your choice of species. Be careful though, by modifying the statistics, you risk losing base points. Your choice will also influence your character's physique.
Last but not least, the last parameter is your resistance to the different elements of the game, namely radioactivity, heat, cold and poison. Here you are completely free to choose, but by making it more resistant to one specific element, you will be less resistant to another.
