The island you live on in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a few secrets. And one of those secrets is a little scary. The Wisp is a desperate little cost that you can only find at night.
Twig will only come out at night, and you may be lucky enough to come across it while exploring your island. When you first find him, he will actually be afraid of you, despite the fact that as a ghost it should be the other way around.
He's so scared, pieces of his mind will fall and float away, and Wisp will ask you to collect them for him. It's kind of your fault, so it's only fair to help the little guy.
To find the coins, explore the island and prepare your bug net. When you see a floating piece, grab it with the net, then resume crawling. You will need to find five coins in total to make Twig whole again.
When you have all five, return to where you found Twig and give them to her. He will give you a gift, asking you to choose something new or something expensive. There doesn't seem to be a 'correct' answer and the wisps present also seem to be random.
