Alternatively, players can also purchase the seeds from Leif. There's no certainty as to when Leif will appear on your island, so getting the seeds from Nook's Cranny is your best bet. Once you have the seeds, just plant and water them, and you'll have your pumpkins ready in no time. Pumpkins can be used for cool DIY projects that you can use to decorate your island.
Pumpkins are one of the many things the update will add to the game.
