Our articles on Diablo 3 Diablo 3: Pandemonium, new affix Season 19 Diablo 3, for the past few seasons, has offered us temporary affixes to modify the game. Blizzard has some nice surprises in store for us.
The PTR 2.6.7 patch arrived in October and with it many changes: balancing, new sets and new affix. We will only tell you about the new Pandemonium affix here. This affix will be available throughout Season 19 of Diablo 3 which lasts between 3 and 4 months.

Pandemonium: New Affix
The affix will work as follows:
"For the duration of the season, all players will gain a stacking bonus that will persist as long as you hit or kill a monster in the last 5 seconds. Each stack grants you a 0,05% bonus to the movement speed and 0,001% damage, up to a maximum of 50% movement speed and 100% damage (i.e. 1 stacks)...”
Additionally, after getting a certain number of consecutive kills, you will unleash a special power that will deal damage depending on your level and difficulty, or the level of the current Greater Rift:
- 15 kills: Five gigantic tornadoes of energy appear.
- 30 kills: Dark geysers form under enemies.
- 50 kills: explosive chicken attack.
- 100 victims: dead bodies fall from the sky.
- 150 kills: A large frost nova freezes enemies.
- 200 victims: treasure chests fall from the sky. 300 victims: a ring of fire devastates everything.
- 400 casualties: meteor shower.
- 500 kills: Angels invade the battlefield to defend your cause.
- 1 victims: ???
- These powers are common to your entire party, which means that only one of them can be active at a time, regardless of the number of players in the game.
This new affix shows that the Diablo 3 development team understands what's nice about the game: seasonal affixes that actually change and impact gameplay in a significant way. Pandemonium is a definitive step in this direction. Additionally, the affix has effects that are very funny at worst and impressive at best!
