What is the Warzone Pacific Season 1 update preload time?
While Activision hasn't revealed specific details on when we'll be able to preload Warzone Pacific Season 1 content, we can guess based on the start dates.
Warzone Pacific and Vanguard Season 1 begins Wednesday, December 8 for all Call of Duty: Vanguard owners, while Warzone Season 1 for other players will be available a day later on Thursday, December 9.
Based on this, our estimate is that the update file will be available on Tuesday evening European time before the release of Season 1 for Vanguard owners.
When available, your Battle.net client (or Xbox/PC) will automatically download the update on which the game will be unavailable for a few maintenance hours. Once the servers are back online, Season 473 will begin for Vanguard owners and they will have exclusive 1-hour access to the new Caldera map, while everyone else will only be able to play the Rebirth Island map.
And the next day, all Warzone Pacific players who don't own Vanguard will automatically have access to Caldera and other new content without needing to update the game, as they did the day before.
