This meant that we had to do extensive research again to make sure our loadouts were still top notch, which would give us the best chance of securing victory when we set foot on Caldera.
Probably the most important thing for building your loadout is figuring out your primary weapon, as we believe short range weapons like shotguns and long range arsenals like sniper rifles or sniper rifles are more situational, so they shouldn't be your primary option.
Assault Rifles, Submachine Guns, or Light Machine Guns are much more versatile in the midst of battle, helping you gain more control of the situation while scanning your surroundings.
For starters, we'll probably start with the most used weapon type, the old reliable, assault rifles, as we rank them from best to worst based on how they fared in the first season of Caldera.
Warzone Pacific Assault Rifle Tier List
We're not trying to take the fun out of playing the game and figuring it all out on your own, this exercise is meant to help you by reducing experimentation time so you can have more time to have fun knocking it down enemies.
By all means, keep testing out the suits, attachments, gear, and perks whenever you can in order to bring the Warzone experience to its peak, but without further ado, let's take a look at the best ones. assault rifles available in Warzone Season 1.5.
Description of levels
- S-level: The best of the best. Even with mediocre attachments, these weapons are powerhouses that will blast enemies to smithereens.
- Level A: These weapons are incredibly powerful and can closely compete with Tier S weapons if paired with the right attachments.
- Level B: The middle of the AR pack for Warzone Pacific. Using the Perfect Loadout allows you to compete against players with A-level weapons. They are great for specific situations or playstyles.
- C-Tier : These ARs shouldn't be your main weapon and should be used circumstantially with another weapon or require expert-level skills to shine.
- Level D: This is labeled the list of "junk tier" weapons. You should not include ARs of this level in your loadout at all.

This is probably the most populated S tier weapon we have on any of our tier lists, as there are several great Assault Rifles out there, but there are a few that might have a level on their own, like the YES 47 XM4 and STG44.
Strictly speaking, based on our level descriptions, each of these weapons is really effective with or without attachments.

Much like the S-tier, the A-tier boasts a very abundant variety of selections that will allow you to try out and familiarize yourself with recoil patterns, TTK, and other variables before deciding on the right one for you.
le EM2 dominated a few seasons ago before some nerfs, while the two gens and BAR are about to upgrade to S level due to their reliability and balance.
le Cooper rifle had a very flimsy ranking the first time we included it, but we think it settled in pretty easily and fits well into that tier.

Smack dab in the middle of the pack are eight Assault Rifles that need some serious help from the right attachments to become effective in the vast vastness of Caldera.
There are two weapons in particular that have been massively nerfed downgrades in previous seasons, as the CR-56 AMAX and FFAR 1 don't have the firepower now to go along with other weapons in the higher levels.

We are entering the Abyssal Zone, where darkness reigns and none of these weapons will get you a victory in Warzone.
Still, there's one gun in particular that performs well in smaller areas but just lacks the firepower to be the last man standing in Caldera. That weapon is the Groza, which with the right attachments could go up a few levels if we were talking about a tier list for Rebirth Island.

This section is written out of simple respect that these weapons exist in Warzone, but make no mistake, our recommendation is to stay away from them.
Unless you want to play a cruel joke on a COD newbie by helping them build a loadout, we can't believe there's a player who would deliberately select one of these weapons.
