You have the option to craft your island with as much personality as you want in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. For those who love big monster movies, the big monster statue you can get and place on your island is a fun thing to add to it. You can place it in several places. But how to get it?
Getting it is a simple matter. The first step is to upgrade the Resident Services Center until it is a building, not a tent. This process can take several days, so give it time and naturally progress to New Horizons doing tasks for Tom Nook, caring for your residents, and maximizing your time spent each day. Eventually, the Resident Services Center will be upgraded, and then you'll have Isabelle go to your island to help Tom there.
After it's a building, you can enter it and use the terminal in the right corner where you can spend your Nook Miles. You want to go to the top option to choose to redeem your Nook Miles, then scroll down until you see an item called a monster statue. You'll see a preview of the item on the left side, which is a Godzilla-like creature, and you can get it for 5000 Nook Miles. You can pick it up at any time to add it to your island and place it anywhere you see fit.
There's plenty to redeem your Nook Miles for, but you can also adorn your island with plenty of items you make yourself through DIY projects. Be sure to visit Nook's Cranny every few days to see what Tommy and Timmy have available for you to purchase.
