Genshin Impact's 2.1 update "The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia" brought tons of new features to the game such as the beginnings of the Inazuma region, as well as a ton of new weapons and banners, and most importantly , new characters .

With Phase II about to begin, it will be time to say goodbye to Kamisato Ayaka of the game's limited banners, which makes way for the debut of two new characters from the Inazuma Archipelago.

The first of these adventurers is known for her creativity and ingenuity, as well as her great affinity with the Pyro element which is part of her creations, which light up the skies of Inazuma in the form of memorable fireworks. Introducing “Frolicking Flames” Yoimiya.

Yoimiya – History and origins

To know more about Yoimiya, we will have to transport ourselves to Hanamizaka, a district of Inazuma city, where we will find the oldest and one of the best fireworks shops in all of Inazuma, known as Naganohara Fireworks.

This is where Yoimiya spends most of his time creating his various fireworks shows, which in addition to impressing the people of Inazuma and even the relentless Raiden Shogun, have a great message loaded with positivity. and inspiration.

Through her father's teachings, she learned that while we may face adversities, all we need to overcome them is something that lights our way and clarifies our ideas, so we can move forward. before looking for what we want to accomplish. .

All this is reflected in the creativity of her fireworks, which loaded with multicolored figures provide an unparalleled experience for families and children (who see her as a heroic sister), helping her to earn respect and admiration. of the entire Inazuma region and the title of "Queen of the Summer Festival".

Yoimiya – Talents

Her normal attack, Firework Flare-Up, allows Yoimiya to perform up to five consecutive strikes with her bow, while with her charged attack, she can perform a more accurate aimed shot with increased DMG. If it is sufficiently charged, its next shot will benefit from the following effects:

  • Charge Level 1: Fires a flaming arrow that inflicts Pyro DMG.
  • Charge Level 2: Generates a maximum of three ignition arrows based on time spent charging, released as part of its aimed shot. These will focus on nearby enemies, inflicting Pyro DMG on hit.

With her elemental skill, Niwabi Fire-Dance, Yoimiya will wave a sparkler and have it surrounded by a ring of saltpeter, activating her new passive called Niwabi Enshou.

Niwabi Enshou causes all of Yoimiya's attacks to become Flaming Arrows, increasing their damage and converting them to Pyro DMG. However, no ignition arrows can be generated during this effect until Yoimiya leaves the field.

Using his Elemental Burst, Ryuukin Saxifrage, Yoimiya will leap into the air with his original creation and fire flaming rockets, bursting with surprises that inflict 473ur DMG Pyro from their impact area and mark any opponents hit with Aurous Blaze .

Whenever you damage an opponent marked with Aurous Blaze using any character (except Yoimiya), you will trigger an explosion that deals Pyro DMG. This mark will be transmitted to another nearby enemy if its bearer is defeated before its duration expires. Finally, if Yoimiya is defeated, its effects will be disabled.

Yoimiya - Best Weapons

Thunderous Pulse

Starting with the best 5-star weapon for her, Yoimiya's debut will coincide with the release of a powerful arc known as Thundering Pulse. This weapon is part of the Inazuma series, giving off a fierce purple light that offers great stats and incredible capacity, as it's a longbow that was a gift from the Raiden Shogun, with eternal lightning that crackles throughout 473ur.

It comes with a special passive called Rule by Thunder, which increases ATK by 20/25/30/35/40% and grants Thunder Emblem Power. At stack levels 1/2/3, his Thunder Emblem will greatly increase normal attack DMG.

Its bearer will get a stack of Thunder Emblem in each of the following scenarios: normal attack inflicts DMG (stack lasts five seconds), casting elemental skills (stack lasts ten seconds); or Energy is less than 100% (the battery disappears when the energy is full), the duration of each battery being calculated independently.

L’arc d’Amos

Next, we'll find the 5-Star Bow of Amos, an extremely ancient weapon that has retained its power despite its original master long gone. It draws power from everyone and everything in the world, and the further its wearer is from what their heart desires, the more powerful it is.

Powered by his strong will, Amos' bow can increase normal and charged attack DMG by 12/15/18/21/24%. After firing a normal or charged attack, the DMG inflicted will be increased by 8/10/12/14/16% for every 0,1 seconds the arrow is in the air up to five times.

Moving on to 4-star weapons, we'll find among the most recommended the Rust, an ancient bow as hard as cast iron, once owned by a famous archer who slew monsters and bandits like silver grass in the wind.

This famous bow has become a favorite of many archers in Genshin Impact due to its stats and lore. So, although it looks like a big, rusty iron bow, an average person wouldn't even have the strength to lift it, let alone pull it.

His passive, Rapid Shot, increases normal attack DMG by 40/50/60/70/80%, allowing for quick offensive strategies against hordes of enemies, but reduces charged attack DMG by 10%.

We end this section with one of the most recent additions to the game, part of the Amethyst series and with that, available through Genshin's forging system, the Hamayumi.

Thanks to its “Full Shot” passive, this bow can increase normal attack DMG by 16/20/24/28/32% and charged attack DMG by 12/15/18/21/24%. Additionally, when its wearer's energy reaches 100%, this effect will be increased by 100%.

You can get the blueprint for this weapon by completing the Wonders of the World achievement "Thank You, Come Back", by opening Takashi's Chests after giving him three Mysterious Conches for seven days. To forge it, you will need the Northlander Bow Billet, 50 Amethyst, 50 Tin, and 500 Mora.

Yoimiya - Best Artifacts and Stats

The reminiscence of Shimenawa

(Photo : miHoYo)

As a primary choice for his Artifacts, we'll recommend one of the latest introductions in Update 2.0, the Reminiscence of Shimenawa set, as it will increase your ATK by 18% when you have 2 pieces of it.

With four pieces, each time you cast an elemental skill, if the wearer has 15 or more energy, they will lose 15 energy and normal, charged, and dive attack DMGs will be increased by 50% for ten seconds.

You can also combine this set with artifacts from the next one which we will talk about below.

Crimson Witch of Flames

(Photo : miHoYo)

As a second option, we have to suggest the extremely powerful Crimson Witch of Flames set, as it will greatly increase the power of her Pyro attacks and abilities, taking her to the next level and making her an unbearable force for any nearby enemy.

By having two pieces of this set, his Pyro DMG will be increased by 15%. However, if you manage to get four pieces from this set, each Overcharged and Burning DMG will be increased by 40%, and will also increase Vaporize and Smelt DMG by 15%.

Additionally, when using an elemental skill, the 2-piece set bonus will increase by 50% of its starting value for ten seconds, up to three stacks. You can combine this set with artifacts with pieces from Shimenawa's Reminiscence or Gladiator's Finale set.

Artifact Stats

As for the stats, they will be focused on exploiting his offensive abilities, while giving him more HP for his synergy with recommended weapons, and increasing his survivability windows:

Main statistics:

  • ATQ
  • CRIT
  • Bonus DMG pyro

  • ATK plat
  • CRIT rate
  • Elemental Mastery

Recommended Team Composition

Since Yoimiya will be used as your party's main DPS dealer, your team composition will focus on supporting her, as well as helping her set up elemental reactions as her elemental skill needs some active time to activate.

Along with that, you'll need to seek out a second DPS dealer, to take advantage of her elemental burst once she's ready and to further increase Yoimiya's damage potential. That said, we recommend pairing it with the teammates listed below:

  • Xingqiu (Hydro),Kazuha (Anémo), or Fischl (electro): Any of these three will serve as fantastic secondary DPS, as all of them can be used to create many elemental reactions, not to mention that these are given great power through their abilities and attacks.
  • Zhongli (geo) or Noelle (geo): Both can provide shields and healing, as well as debuffs against nearby enemies to fight safer against many enemies.
  • To complete your party, we suggest using any Pyro character (with a preference for units like Bennettor Xiangling), as their abilities will enhance Yoimiya's Pyro Resonance.

And that's all we have to share with you about Yoimiya. Remember that she will only be available from August 10 to August 31 in the "Tapestry of Golden Flames" banner with Sayu's debut, so try to save as many Primogems as possible.
