When the Crux Shines Bright is Beidou's Hangout event, part of the Hangout IV event series. Players will need to meet specific requirements to unlock this Hangout event.
In this Hangout event guide, we outline all the information players will need to know about this Hangout event, rewards, achievements, and all possible endings that can be unlocked.
How to Unlock When the Crux Shines Bright
To play Beidou's Hangout event, players will need to have reached Adventure Rank 30 or higher, as well as two Story Keys, which can be earned by completing Daily Commissions. You will need to complete eight commissions to earn two story keys.
As four commissions can be completed daily, for one story key, it will take at least two days to unlock. This means players can get two Story Keys for four days. Also, for this specific Hangout event, you will need to complete Chapter 2: Act 3 Archont Quest.
When the Crux Shines Bright: Event Rewards
According to the event endings triggered by players, players can get the related rewards. If players wish to maximize the rewards they can receive, you will need to replay the event as many times as possible to unlock most or all of the endings.

Achievements
Players can unlock three achievements after completing this Hangout event. Each achievement will reward players with Primogems once they have been unlocked.
Crux Honorary Member
- The goal: Complete the "When the crux shines brightly" event and unlock all five event endings.
- Reward: Primegems x20
Guyun Buyers Club
- The goal: Investigate the truth behind Beidou's business deal.
- Reward: Primegems x5
The wine unloads
- The goal: Attend Qingce's banquet with Beidou as a guest.
- Reward: Primegems x5
Additionally, players can be rewarded with an additional 30 Primogems for unlocking two of the above achievements by triggering specific endings.
- Guyun Buyers Club: Unlock Ending 1 "Once It's All Over".
- The wine unloads: Unlock Ending 4 "Between Us".
End of the event
There are five Hangout event endings or memories for the "When the Crux Shines Bright" Hangout Event. Each ending is triggered by a series of dialogue choices that influence each available outcome.
Below, we'll take a look at the five endings along with the important dialogue choices players will need to make to get each ending.
Ending 1: Once it's all over
These are the important dialogue options players will need to do to trigger this ending. More specifically, you will have to fail the quiz offered to you by Beidou if you wish to have this ending.

“The Shield of the Crux” or “The Spear of the Crux” – either option will produce the exact end result. However, selecting "The Knot Spear" will cause players to skip the "A Little Test" story path.
A little test
Players will have to fail the quiz by not selecting any of the following dialogue choices:
"Underestimating the danger", "Marking the distances" and "The presence of dark clouds and strong winds in opposite directions, as well as white swirls in the clouds".

End 2: Photography lesson for two
The dialogue options will mostly remain the same, with the exception of having to complete Beidou's quiz to trigger this ending.

Ending 3: Coquette
Making dialogue choices similar to Ending 2, however, in "A Smattering of Memories" you'll choose a contrasting dialogue option to conclude the story path.

To unlock this ending, you'll make completely different dialogue choices than the first three endings.

Ending 5: Sakura Blooms on Guili Fell
Players must select a different dialogue choice during "Private Chat" to unlock this ending. The dialogue choice for "A Special Guest" remains the same as of the fourth ending.

If players chose to take the quiz in “A Little Test” to unlock the “Photography Class for Two” and “Coquette” endings, here are the quiz questions and their answers:
Question: "What is the greatest danger facing crew members?"

Question: "What are the different colored lines in the additional graphics for?" »
Answer: “To mark distances. »
Question: "How can we reliably predict water swells, so that we can avoid them?" »

Additionally, you'll need to complete a Treasure Hunt in Guili Plains if you want to unlock the fifth ending, "Sakura Blooms Upon Guili Fell." The treasure chest is located northeast of the search perimeter, near a monument with a luminous pillar. Dig 473ur of the area to unearth the chest.
It is important to note that players can replay this event multiple times to unlock each event completion and its associated achievements and rewards for fully completing this Hangout event. Additionally, replaying the event will not require story keys to be unlocked, meaning players can replay the event for free.
