With Diablo 19 Season 3 already well underway, Blizzard recently announced that Update 2.6.8 will be hitting test servers soon. On February 6, a major patch will therefore be deployed and players with access to the RPT will be able to test the various new features of the update. But how do you access the Diablo 3 test server? We explain here how to download and install it.

How do I download and access the Diablo 3 PTR?
Accessing the Diablo 3 PTR is relatively simple, just follow the few steps listed below. You can of course find additional information on the official Blizzard website.
- Step 1: First make sure you have Battle.net application downloaded and installed on your computer.
- Step 2: First, you will need create an RTP account. To do this, simply go to the Blizzard website and click on Diablo 3 to access the game's management page. Once on the page, click on "Create an RPT account" and follow the instructions. For players who have already participated in testing phases on Diablo 3, the button may not appear. This means that an RPT account has already been created, so you will have to go to the next step.
- Step 3: In the Diablo 3 tab of the Battle.net application you will need to select " RPT: Reaper of Souls in the server selection and then start downloading the required files.
- Step 4: Once the RPT has been downloaded and installed, all you have to do is log in with your RPT account credentials.
