COD Vanguard Splitscreen: Zombies and Couch Multiplayer Co-op

One of the best things about Call of Duty: Vanguard is the fact that the Zombies mode not only draws on the Black Ops Cold War story, but is also developed directly by Treyarch, the studio that introduced Zombies. in the franchise.

Good ol' Zombies is a perfect activity for spending quality time with your friends and family, as it's all about co-op rather than competition, and it's even better if you can play zombies with the co-op mode in split screen.

Unfortunately, couch co-op games are very rare these days, as gaming has almost completely transitioned to online play over the past decade, and few games today support local play features, like shared screen or local network. .

Thankfully, the Call of Duty franchise is known for its continued split-screen support all these years, and that support is also present in COD Vanguard.

But do all modes support split screen? Let's check.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Multiplayer Splitscreen

COD Vanguard fully supports split-screen multiplayer, but only for consoles, which means you can play split-screen on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One.

If you're a PC gamer, as of this writing, you won't be able to play Vanguard multiplayer via split-screen, but that option may be added at a later date.

Split-screen mode supports up to four players, and if you want to play online, invited players will need to have their own PSN or Xbox Live account, with active PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscriptions, but that's not not needed for local play.

Can you play Vanguard Zombies in split screen?

Unfortunately, now comes the part where we have bad news for you. Despite the fact that Zombies mode seems perfect for a split-screen co-op mode, COD Vanguard does not support split-screen co-op for Zombies.
