Brawlhalla is a 2D platform fighting game developed by Blue Mammoth Games and edited by Ubisoft, in which two teams of one or two players compete until the enemy team is defeated. Each player can choose from more than forty champions, each with a unique fighting style. Once in play, objects aimed at handicapping the enemy are made available to players.
1 - Choose your favorite weapon types
In Brawlhalla there are eleven types of weapons and each character has two different weapons. It is therefore important to know how to master the weapons that your favorite characters have. Indeed, although all the characters in the game have unique combat styles, the quick attacks do not change depending on the characters. Thus, a player having selected Ada, will carry out the same fast attacks as someone having selected Thatch (with a similar weapon, therefore pistols in this case).
Nevertheless, in order to know your favorite types of weapons, you will have to test all the weapons present in the game. When you start, it is therefore important to try several characters, in order to avoid too frequent changes later. , which could cause you to stagnate at a certain level.
Once you have made your choice, you will only have to play characters using the weapons with which you have become familiar, in order to avoid the impression of losing level when you change characters.
2 - Play with friends
Brawlhalla being a team game (in 2v2), playing with a friend will give you a significant advantage during your games. Indeed, as with many games, communication is key. Two players at the higher individual level may lose against two players communicating well and with good team synergy. For example, you will be able to warn your teammate when you intend to throw a bomb at your opponent, which will allow him to move away so as not to suffer the damage of the bomb by mistake.

3 - Familiarize yourself with the aerial game
On Brawlhalla, aerial play is one of the most important mechanics to master. Although very difficult to approach (especially at the beginning), this mechanic is essential to your evolution. Indeed, this will allow you to avoid attacks, to pursue your enemies even outside the combat platform, or to return to it in other situations. It is therefore necessary to know how to use your feints, your jumps (in the air and against the walls), while being able to attack at the same time. It sounds simple, but once in play, it's hard to practice all of these things at once.
4 - Use the objects at your disposal
Many objects and weapons are available to you throughout each of your games. There are three objects with different functions in Brawlhalla, one lets you throw a bomb that deals very high damage to your opponents, another lets you throw a big ball with spikes that inflicts intermediate damage, and the other lets you will call back your pet which will inflict small damage and push back your enemies, but also drop a weapon at the place where you called it.
