Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War recently had its much anticipated Season 4 Reloaded update and following the latest patch, Activision and Treyarch have decided to offer free weekly access to Black Ops Cold War. As confirmed by Activision, the free access week for Cold War will begin on July 22 and end on July 29.
Black Ops Cold War Free Play Week Details
This week's Free Access will also include Season 4's new maps and reloaded modes, as well as the updated Outbreak Zombies mode for all players.
Activision explains, "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will have a free-to-play period with various multiplayer and zombie experiences, including 473ur playlists from the new Rush map and the entirety of 'Mauer Der Toten!' Those who play Warzone will find all of their Cold War Black Ops weapons and world level progress intact during the trial, and any progress made during the trial will carry over to Warzone. »
The free access week will be available on multiple platforms such as PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
While Treyarch has yet to release details regarding the download process, several reputable sources for Call of Duty news have reported these steps in order to get Cold War Week Free Access:
- Open your console store and search for “Cold War Free Access”.
- A free download option will appear on the page once access to the free week begins.
- Click it and download it to start playing.
PC players will receive a "Play for Free" option on their Battle.net launcher on the date mentioned above. Just like other platforms, gamers just need to click on the download button to install Cold War on their gaming system to get their hands on the Call of Duty title for an entire week without paying even a single penny.
