Biomutant mutations, how does it work? In Biomutant, you will be able to undergo mutations that will have effects on your character.

How does mutation work in Biomutant?

As said before, you will be able to undergo mutations by interacting with mutation pools. By mutating, you will be able to acquire strange new abilities which can be physical or powers. like the ability to spawn mushrooms out of nowhere.

To acquire these new abilities, you will need to collect bio or psi points. To get some, you will have to defeat enemies, explore Bios Points areas or even open containers.

Biological Mutations

Biological mutations can be acquired using bio points and here are the abilities you can get. It should be noted that the names of the abilities are currently in English.

Attacus	By using this ability, you will be able to infect all small humanoid enemies that will be affected by this ability. Enemies will then attack their allies for you.	2
toxic bile	While using this skill, you will spit some sort of poisonous slime in the direction you are facing, dealing damage to all enemies hit.	3
Mushroom	By using Champi, you will be able to make a mushroom appear. Jump on it to bounce or place it under small enemies to make them bounce.	4
Volute radioactive	By using Radioactive Volute, you will drop particles that will deal radioactive damage to all enemies hit.	6
jolt	By using Storm Hop, you will be able to trigger a flight ability. When you crash, you will deal damage to enemies within a wide radius of your impact.	8
slobbery bubble	By using this ability, you will make a bubble appear. Jump on it to bounce or roll it over enemies to stick them on them. If you press the key assigned to the ability again, it will burst and deal damage to any enemies stuck on it.	10
Gadoupoing	With this ability, you'll spawn a column of slime that will lift the ground and knock smaller enemies into the air.	14
turtle shape	With Turtle Form, you will turn into a turtle and slide down the slopes.	16

Mutations psi

Psi mutations can be acquired using psi points and in some cases aura points and here are the abilities you can get. It should be noted that the names of the abilities are currently in English.

Blink	With Blink, you will be able to teleport in the direction in which you are moving and you will create a shock wave in the process where you will reappear.	2 Psi
Bales grill	You will throw a bullet at an enemy in the direction you are facing and deal damage to the enemy hit.	4 Psi and 10 black aura
Gel	All enemies hit by this ability will take cold damage and the ground will become slippery for enemies.	6 Psi and 10 light aura
ball lightning	You will throw a bullet at an enemy in the direction you are facing and deal damage to the enemy hit.	Accessible only for the Psyonik
Levitation	With this ability you are going to be able to float in the air and you can still use your ranged weapon and other abilities for its duration.	10 Psi and 20 light aura
Telekinesis	With this ability, you will be able to move an enemy or an object.	10 Psi and 20 black aura
Spark of KI	By using this ability, you will place all enemies within range in a "shocked" state and inflict damage on them.	16 Psi and 30 light aura
celestial spark	You will spawn this ability, which on impact on the ground will deal damage to enemies hit.	16 Psi and 30 black aura
