The long-awaited Call of Duty Warzone Season 5 patch is here bringing some major changes to the game. Beyond the shiny new battle pass, there's also a slew of new additions, including new POIs, a new Gulag, several new modes and two new powerful and high-caliber weapons.
Activision has also finally released the final weapon balancing changes and thankfully there are no nerfs or buffs for the XM4. This means you can still take full advantage of this monster weapon's incredible firepower in the new meta. Here is the best XM4 class setup to use in Warzone Season 5.
The best XM4 class setup in Warzone Season 5
The XM4 Assault Rifle is on our list of A-tier ARs to use this season and could rival S-tier options like the FARA 83 or Krig 6 if paired with the right attachments.
The XM4 is a great handheld weapon that has decent ammo, damage range, damage, and rate of fire. All in all, it's just a great pickup to use.
The following loadout is based on the class setup of YouTuber Marathon, which recently earned him 28 kills on Rebirth Island.
- Muzzle: Agency remover
- Laser: Spotlight on Team Tiger
- Optical: LED Microflex
- Store: Raider mat
- Ammunition: 45 Rnd Mag
As we mentioned earlier, the Agency remover is an integral attachment for just about every AR and the majority of weapons in the game. This attachment will provide sound suppression, as well as increases to vertical recoil control, bullet speed, and effective damage range .
Le Raider Pad Stock is arguably the best stock in the game and will boost ADS fire move speed, aim walk move speed and sprint to shoot.
Your choice of Optics is largely preferential but we have opted for the LED Microflex to provide 1,25x magnification. We pair this with the Tiger Team Laser Projector to further strengthen mobility with increased movement speed and aim for the walking movement.
Finally, we went with the 45 Rnd Mag to provide additional ammunition. You can use a higher round loader, although this is not recommended as you may experience a significant drop in ADS time.
