Overnight, Raven Software released the Season 5 Reloaded Patch Notes for Call of Duty: Warzone and a key weapon got significantly nerfed.
Everyone's favorite assault rifle, the Krig 6, got this nerf. It looks like the devs want players to test other ARs ahead of Season 6. The Krig 6 was by far the most used rifle in Season 5 and for good reason. It has unbeatable damage and virtually no recoil with the right attachments equipped.
However, this is no longer the case. The Krig has had a substantial nerf to both damage range and weapon kick, meaning it won't be as accurate going forward. This is big news for the Warzone meta and new weapons will be featured. However, for fans who aren't a fan of the change, they can always just use the updated Krig 6 loadout.

The patch notes for the Krig 6 are as follows:
- Maximum damage reduced from 30 to 29
- Average damage now 25
- Minimum damage reduced from 25 to 23
- Adjusted weapon kick
These are huge changes and now make the Krig 6 much less powerful at range and need some extra attachments to help with the extra recoil. Luckily, the updated loadout fixes those issues.
- Muzzle: Agency remover
- Baril: 19,7″ Ranger
- Optical: Axial arms 3x
- Sub-barrel: Field Agent Handle
- Munition: STANAG 60 round cartridges
The only key element that changed in the Season 5 Reloaded loadout is the barrel. Instead of using the CMV cannon, which reduced the damage range by 40%, players should now use the Ranger 19,7″ for extra ball speed.
The rest of the equipment is standard for the Krig 6. The Agency remover increases damage range, reduces recoil, and suppresses shots when fired.

The 3x axial arms is still the best range for medium and long range gunfights for an Assault Rifle. To help with the added weapon kick, the Field Agent's Handful is the best choice for any load. And finally the 60 Round STANAG Magazine is to make sure players have enough bullets for a multi-enemy shootout.
